L-bow launching customer of new DNVGL offshore access gangway standard
With the release of the new DNVGL-ST-0358 “Certification of offshore gangways for personnel transfer” a new step has been taken into making offshore personnel transfer safer, more transparent and predictable. L-bow is proud to be a launching customer for this new standard. The standard was released dec. 8th with a supporting article, found here.

After careful consideration and many meetings L-bow has found a global financial and sales partner. The partnership results in a worldwide sales and service network to aid our future customers with excellent service and worldwide rental/purchase possibilities.

Start of purchasing long lead items
The next step has been taken. The first long lead items have been ordered! While design is getting into the detail phase, the first hydraulic items have to be ordered to ensure delivery according to our main schedule.

Update assembly of L-bow
All expertise are coming together in assembling the L-bow system. Construction, mechanics, hydraulics and electrics all are doing their part.

First demo of the L-bow system
With our prototype building partners we showed interested people the L-bow system in development for the first time.

Test setup
After lots of functional testing the L-bow system is going to the next phase, testing the L-bow on a moving platform. The test setup ,once complete, will simulate a vessels roll and pitch. In this way the input is controlled very tightly and the behavior of the L-bow system can be observed, altered and fine-tuned. Can’t wait to see it in action.
